This venue has become the fail safe go to for our monthly curry club. The starters are on par with the best places in Leicester. The recent addition of street food inspired menu with beautifully blended indo Chinese flavours is worth a visit. Recommend the salt and pepper fish, lollipop chicken with the info Chinese sauce and masala chips.

The restaurant is re opened with vibrant and much more elegant menu on melton road. Lip smacking dishes. We tried the tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, lamb Kebab, chicken lollipops etc and at the end ordered butter chicken and lamb curry... all the dishes were lip smacking..in the end we were so so full...what a wonderful experience. The menu caters for all your requirement including vegetarian and vegan options. We even saw healthy boxes on the menu which had dishes like chicken Kebab, lamb Kebab, rice and salad ...all under a tenner. Will defo visit next time

Amazing food!!! First visit, was very impressed. Chicken Kalaji (Liver) was perfect. We had prawn sizzler, mixed grill, naan, Chilli chips & chicken kheema curry. All medium heat, food was on point. I was taken by surprise how tasty the food was. Every dish has it's own unique flavors & taste. It's not like most restaurants that use the same sauce on every starter dish. Definitely will visit again and try some more of the of the different mains & starter's. Very impressed Well done, The Royal indian!!!!
